Product Description
Track the number of beers you've had on the counter!
Do you think your drinking capabilities are worthy of a mention in the Guinness World Book of Records? Then don't wait too long and order the Talking Bottle Opener! Thanks to its convenient counter this indispensible gadget automatically counts how many beer bottles you've opened, which will save you a lot of tallying! It also saves the Guinness Record Official the trouble of moving in with you.
If you're planning a wild night with your friends, you can easily reset the opener. This way, you'll know exactly how much damage you guys did to your livers the next morning. Get one for each of your friends, and turn the Talking Bottle Opener into a real Party Game!
But that's not all! You can also record a ten second message for the next person opening a bottle, allowing you to raise a bottle with your roommates anywhere. (Or to berate the bastards for stealing your last beer!)

It's a funny thing. The sound quality of the recording is pretty poor though, so it's hard to understand. I tried it in different ways, but it stays very mediocre. The counter works fine.

The idea is wonderful, but the execution not quite. The button for recording your own text on the handle is very easy to press, unfortunately also by accident. We had recorded a nice message, but when opening the bottle the recipient had already pressed that little button without knowing, so everything was gone and all you could hear was background noise. Shame! There should be a slide switch somewhere low down that you can't operate by mistake. The counter works, but resetting it only works with a bent-open paperclip.

Top!

I can only agree. Good idea, but it doesn't work! You can't record any text, let alone play it back, and the counter counts completely wrong. Thinking about sending it back.
