VW Camper Van Tent
Experience your own "Summer of Love"!
Product Description
Do you love music, Mother Nature and mud? Or are you just a "wild child" from the 60's? If so, chances are we'll find you at one of those wonderful (European) campsites this summer. But why should you go for a boring, conventional tent if you can have a HippyHappy VW Camper Van Tent?
Re-live the wild 60's with this exact replica of the Volkswagen Transporter T1. This indisputable icon will be the talk of the campsite. The tent has been modelled to a scale of (1: 1) and therefore has the exact same size as the real 1967 VW Camper Van. The Camper van transports four people at once. In the good old Flower Power Days it was popular with HIPpies; now it's back and loved by HIPsters.
It goes without saying that this tent has more to offer than its beautiful body.
The tent is 3.88 meters long and is divided by a tent cloth into two separate rooms. So it has two fully-fledged bedrooms. Both rooms have their own zip for leaving the tent, which will come in handy to preserve the "peace & love" between you and your tent mates. Viva privacy!
With a height of 1.83 meters the tent is perfect for those a little taller. You'll be able to stand up straight inside the tent and your back will definitely be grateful!
The tent will protect you from the elements, even under extreme weather conditions. The roof has an impermeability of 3000 mm and the partitions have an impermeability of 1000 mm. In comparison: the tents of the British army have an impermeability of 800 mm. The stitched-in ground sheet is also waterproof.
Your Summer of Love can't go wrong with this tent!
PS: if you're going to San Francisco, don't forget to wear flowers in your hair!

Great tent, for two oldies like us we can walk in standing up and we don't go unnoticed at the campsite!

Really happy with this tent. Goes up quickly, nice and roomy. You do get a lot of visitors with it at a campsite though

Super blij met deze tent. Staat snel, lekker ruim.

Great tent. The only downside is that the inside is white, so it feels like you're lying in a skylight. Of course lots of fun reactions from other holidaymakers!

Supertent.

We're very happy with icadeau. Ordering and delivery went quickly and smoothly. And the tent is amazing! We put it up in the garden and got loads of attention. Next week it's coming with us to Italy to go next to the camper. Can't wait!

Ideal if you're going camping at an overcrowded campsite. Our 8-year-old son is having a whale of a time with his honking :-)

I'm very happy with this original tent, which goes really well with my old Austin Mini. Easy to put up. Good quality canvas. The inside is also well optimised, since the two bedrooms can be turned into one. You need to pull the canvas nice and tight to get a realistic look. The only downside for me is the purchase price, which makes it a bit of a pricey joke. But if you're passionate about it, go for it.

Just a delivery address successfully changed because of coronavirus and lockdowns. The tent was delivered very quickly! Well done. Despite looking like a Combi T1 with identical dimensions, it's a real tent with 2 bedrooms. Good product.

Bon produit .

i bought the green one. blue and red unfortunately weren't available but that doesn't make it any less fun the tent comes neatly packed in a sturdy bag. the first time you put it up you need to take a good look at how the poles go. but then it goes up fairly quickly. a plus here is that you put up the outer tent first so the inner tent stays nice and dry. there's also more room than i expected. you can easily sleep 4 people in it. definitely worth buying if you're a fan of VW vans

Ideal for 2 people. That way you still have room for your luggage. The standing height is nice. What's missing are ventilation flaps. If the side door has to be closed completely when it rains, because there's no canopy, condensation forms. Another downside is the light, see-through fabric. So it's broad daylight in the van early in the morning.

Ideal für 2 Personen. So hast du noch Platz fürs Gepäck. Angenehm ist die Stehhöhe. Was fehlt sind Lüftungsklappen.
